Who We Are

The Greater Mercy is all around us. It binds us together with nature and each other. The Greater Mercy holds us all, even when we have turned our backs on each other and nature.

The Greater Mercy Foundation provides educational, experiential, and transformational opportunities for the mind, body, and spirit.

It is the vision of The Greater Mercy Foundation to co-create the new paradigm through partnerships and projects that develop the mind, body, and spirit; and that allow participants to connect more deeply to themselves, others, and nature.

What’s New

In 2018, we offered two 6-week after school yoga workshops for junior high and high school youth, serving a total of 22 students. One of our high school yoga students served as a mentor and assistant in our fall junior high class. We have introduced yoga to over 700 students at Jacob’s Well Elementary, summer camps, Wimberley Valley Library and local yoga studios. In partnership with Wimberley ISD and beginning 2019-2020 school year, we will launch our yoga school at Wimberley High School offering a 330 hour yoga training class. Students will earn class credit and yoga teacher certification while developing important leadership and social-emotional skills with a focus on self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Texas State University has joined the project to determine the short and long term program outcomes. Learn more…
